Hotelier24 connects travellers with hotels and homestays. A traveller sends an enquiry; the property replies with availability and price. This page explains what we need to make that work, who sees it, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- The dates, number of guests and the area or city you searched.
- Your approximate location — only if you tap “use my current location”. We never read your location in the background, and you can refuse without losing any feature except sorting by distance.
When you create an account
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your password, stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody at Hotelier24 can read it.
When you list a property
- Contact name and phone number for the property.
- The property's own details: name, address, description, photographs, rooms, prices, check-in and check-out times, and an optional Google Business Profile link.
- Subscription and payment records, if you take a paid plan.
When you contact support
- Your name, email, phone number, what you wrote and any file you attached.
Collected automatically
- A session cookie, so you stay signed in and forms are protected against forgery. It is not used for advertising.
- Your IP address, to rate-limit forms and block abuse.
- Records of the emails and WhatsApp messages we send you, so we can tell whether an enquiry actually reached the property.
Who your information is shared with
The properties you enquire with. This is the point of the service. When you send an enquiry, the property (and, on a premium plan, a small number of comparable nearby properties) receives your name, phone number, email address, dates and number of guests so they can reply to you directly. Once that has happened, how they use your details is governed by their own practices, not ours.
We also use these processors, and only for the jobs named:
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) — to deliver WhatsApp messages.
- Microsoft — to deliver email.
- Razorpay — to take subscription payments from property partners. Card and banking details are entered on Razorpay's own checkout and never reach our servers.
- Our hosting provider — to run the website and store its database.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve advertising. We disclose it otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Accounts — until you ask us to delete yours.
- Enquiries — kept as a record of what was sent to which property, so a dispute can be settled later.
- Email and message logs — kept as delivery evidence.
- Payment records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your choices
- See what we hold. Ask, and we will tell you.
- Correct it. Signed-in users can edit their own details; otherwise ask us.
- Have it deleted. See Delete your data.
- Withdraw location access. Clear it from the site, or revoke the permission in your browser.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, payment details never touch our servers, and access to the admin panel is restricted and logged. No system is perfect, so please tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
Children
Hotelier24 is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us details, write to us and we will remove them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
